Open Day and Free Homeopathy 'Drop-In' or Taster Sessions
Highworth Holistic Health, 26 Newburgh Place, HIghworth
Saturday 6 June, 10am - 2pm.
To celebrate the opening of my new clinic in Highworth I'm offering an Open Day and free 15 minute taster sessions on 6 June*. This is ideal for those who want to find out more about homeopathy, or to meet me, with no obligation to book further appointments. The clinic is at Highworth Holistic Health, 26 Newburgh Place, and there will also be information and sessions with other practitioners in McTimoney Chiropractic, Thai massage, baby massage and more!
At the taster session you can find out how homeopathy could help any ailments or emotional issues you, your famly or friends are facing. You are welcome to come alone, or bring them with you. Depending on the ailment or injury I may be able to offer an appropriate homeopathic remedy in the session free of charge. Just come along and find out more. There will also be free leaflets available, a chance to chat informally, as well as a few homeopathic books and remedy kits available to browse or purchase.
I am a fully qualified and registered homeopath who has been treating serving individuals and families of all ages since 2006. I treat people for a wide range of ailments, from physical symptoms and injuries to emotional issues and difficulties.
If you would like more information, to book your free session, or simply to call for a chat to see what homeopathy could do to help, please call 07811 398642. I run clinics in Shrivenham, Highworth and via Skype.
* if you are unable to make 6 June but would still like a free 15 minute taster session, please call me as I have a limited number of sessions available on other dates in Highworth and Shrivenham.

Over Easter I will be available for the following 'phone-in' times. Unusually, I am not available for the week before Easter. This is to allow me to spend some time with my family over the holiday period. However, I will be available to speak with you during the following times:
If you call during a phone in time and the line is busy, or there is no answer, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I can (it can get very busy during these periods).
If you email or text me during this time I will not reply until I get to the next phone in time - details of all phone in times will be on my answerphone.
In a homeopathic emergency if I am not available, or for urgent homeopathic advice, please call the Homeopathic Helpline on 09065 343404 - calls cost £1.53 a minute but are usually resolved within a few minutes. If in doubt or with any major issues consult your GP as normal.
Finally, may I wish you a wonderful Easter!

Here are the photos of the new Highworth homeopathy clinic in its early stages - still a little work to do on finishing but the walls, decor and furniture are in and I'm nearly ready for business. Jane Faulkes, owner of the clinic and McTimoney Chiropractor, is already in and practising. I start my homeopathy consultations in Highworth on 21st April and am already taking bookings from patients.
This lovely new clinic has a comfortable waiting room which will be decorated more, offering information for people to just pop in and pick up. There is also space to be able to provide talks and short courses in the future. I am so excited to be working in this new space and to be able to provide what I hope will be an excellent homeopathy service to patients in a new area.
More photos will follow as the clinic is finished. The map below shows the clinic location.
If you know anyone who would like to benefit from homeopathy in Highworth, or would simply like to find out more, please call 07811 398642.
Here is today's photo of my new project! I'm joining up with Highworth Holistic Health to run a new clinic in the new year! I will be working with Jane Faulkes, McTimoney Chiropractor, who is currently redesigning and renovating the above venue to turn it into an oasis of holistic health care in Highworth.
More details will follow in the new year, but there will be various treatments, open events and talks to launch the new premises. Here are some more photos of the work-in-progress clinic taken today, with builders on site getting things up to speed whilst I was there. The left hand photo is the waiting room-to-be. The right hand photo is my room-to-be, which will be a most pleasant place to work and to be treated.
I'm so delighted to be going away today! Although it's a crazily busy time of year with patients, the investment of time in further professional training is always worthwhile. This time I've chosen to train further in detoxing patients safely. This is by using homeopathy to remove the adverse effects of medication in the body. I was lucky enough to be first taught by the late Dr Tinus Smits in 2006. He was a wonderful, gentle and inspirational man and his work has been carried on today in the form of CEASE therapy.
CEASE training was predominantly about using homeopathy to treat autism. As CEASE say on their website "Dr. Smits' conclusion after having seen over 300 cases of all levels of severity. In his experience autism is an accumulation of different causes and about 70% is due to vaccines, 25% to toxic medication and other toxic substances, 5% to some diseases. With isotherapy, a form of homeopathy using the causative substances themselves in homeopathic preparation, the toxic imprints can be erased." However, many conditions can be treated using this method.
You may enjoy the video below as a short introduction to the topic, or scroll down for more information.
Last week I gave a talk in Shrivenham, entitled "FEVER! What fevers and what you can do about them." I used this event as part of Homeopathy Awareness Week to raise funds for the charity Homeopathy Frontline.
The evening was good fun, the room was full, and we learned and shared experiences about several remedies commonly prescribed in fever. I got some lovely feedback (thank you all!) and even better, we raised £30 for the Homeopathy Action Trust's organisation, 'Homeopathy Frontline'. This may not sound a huge amount, but given that I organised the evening in less than a week this was a great achievement - so thank you all who came.
Frontline Homeopathy is the banner under which the Homeopathy Action Trust encourages and helps provide treatment to those on low incomes who might not otherwise be able to receive it. They promote homeopathy as an effective, low-cost primary health care system in communities disadvantaged by social, economic and political circumstances on a global scale.

Here is a short film by the wonderful vet Geoff Johnson MA VetMB MRCVS VetMFHom RSHom PCH. He talks about treating animals with homeopathy and mentions a well known, large Cuban trial where homeopathy was used instead of vaccinations for leptospirosis. Last year I was lucky enough to be on a study day at the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital, studying the treatment of cancer by homeopathy, where Geoff was present with other vets, nurses, doctors, hospice workers and homeopaths and was most impressed by his anecdotes of treating animals.
Only vetinary homeopaths are allowed to treat animals. However, you can treat animals at home and homeopathic pharmacies such as Helios sell very useful remedy kits for treating pets.
Well worth two minutes to watch! Thank you, Geoff.
Would you like to host a coffee morning in the Shrivenham / Faringdon / Highworth area? Why not enjoy a relaxed and fun session with friends whilst you learn together to prescribe for you, your family and friends in basic first aid and acute situations?
In return for hosting this enjoyable session, hosts get free homeopathic goodies and vouchers towards homeopathic treatment or books. I provide all the teaching, handouts where needed and have a range of interesting props and items to look at. The morning is aimed at beginners or those with some knowledge of using homeopathy at home and is a general introduction to homeopathy. The session can also be themed, focusing on a particular topic such as babies and young children, first aid, pregnancy/childbirth, menopause, etc. We can discuss this and tailor the morning to meet your needs. I can also provide a few items for sale such as books, creams, remedies and other homeopathy-related products, if wished.
Please note that as I am a practising homeopath with a busy clinic my available mornings are limited, so booking is on a first come, first served basis.
I am a fully qualified, registered homeopath and NCT antenatal teacher experienced in teaching homeopaths and non-homeopaths in homeopathy. The military families may wish to know that I am also a military wife. My aim is to make homeopathy fun and accessible to as many people as possible in the Shrivenham area.
Please contact me to arrange your morning, of for more information, using the form below. Or call me on 07811 398642 to discuss options. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
